Have we found Continent One?
If so, it must have been a quite different one. Or: it is a different one. And if it is different, then we should be able to discover and identify it ... not as a sunken landscape, a hidden memory below sea level, but as a self-explaining reality able to reveal its secrets through the eye of the periscope of revelation. A continent of a radically different nature.
The areal distinction 3 : 2 may explain, because of the numbers 2 and 3, that our physical world belongs to a realm of multiplicity, and that Continent One, consequently, does not belong to that multiplicity. At least not as a physical manifestation. It is most likely physically absent. Why so? Because of its sacredness?
As a true representative of the symbol 'One' it carries a message which for good reasons shouldn't be physically exposed as a continent, but, nevertheless, as a legible sign. Invisible and yet recognizable, like the immaterial capstone of the Great Pyramid.
Therefore, let's go on imagining ...
Number One is physically absent. But its presence is proven by its ability to 'induce' two physical representatives. And, because of the mentioned numerical precision, the proportion 3 : 2, they bear witness of 1 as their common (original and absolute) reference. The two belong entirely to the world of relativity. At the same time a secret memory has been inserted in the pattern of their dual order. And this memory refers to a common 'One' which is not of this relative world.
However, 1's closest numerical neighbours are 2 and 3; they are 1's successive followers. At the same time they are its yin and yang companions. Together they pronounce One's name.
I feel I can sort of hear its keynote chord ...
