One : the sacred sign
We've seen that the different symbolical representatives of One
(the circle, the vertical, the middle, the number 1, the temples' Holy of Holies, the
Sabbath, etc.) tend to explain that the world needs them in order to embody its sacred
destination. Also the hidden 'first continent' must have some ability to get
embodied, and it ought to be fully recognizable.
In other words, there ought to be some confirming sign; the holy presence of One, the initiator of 2 and 3, should not only be absent or mute. Just as the edgelines of the Great Pyramid mention the apex by pointing at it, the two great continents should be a guide to that continent of the Beginning ...
Our first objection as to the continental circles was that they joined, making a circulating
'bi-cycle'.
The next thing to observe is that this touch exposes a common diameter. That line runs through both
circles, combining their centres.
Believing in it or not, we've seen how these two middles helped uncover a fable of mutual love. We also saw that the same
middles, helped by the Australian one, produced an expressibe 1+4 symbol. Now we realize that they conduct the common diameter, thus demonstrating a connection between the remotest points of the entire
figure.
We observe, in other words, another mention of the two circles' unified
commission. Even the common diameter is a symbol of a Two that despite duality is designed to be
One.
A simple mathematical operation now reveals that the added lengths of the two continental peripheries equals the periphery of a circle embracing the common diameter.
Thus, the flow through the two continental circles may be translated into a corresponding flow in the embracing ring - their unifying sign ...
Though, here comes the real surprise.
What we're facing here is the very key to the Original Continent. Even the still undiscovered signature is
included. We already know this Key ...
Let's measure the common diameter - which also became the diameter of the embracing
circle. Chosing the diameter of the imaginary Circle One to measure 1, the two diameters
measure, as we've seen already, 2 and 3, respectively. The length of the common diameter is 2 + 3.
2 + 3 = 1.4142136 + 1.7320508 = 3.1462644. In other words, the common diameter produces a figure which is only .1487 percent from the correct value of pi, 3.1415927. The common diameter's signature is pi.
The key to Continent One is identified. It is the Key of Transition.
Thus, as pi is the periphery of a circle whose diameter would measure 1, we may understand that this pi-dimension - symbolically spoken - is nothing but an indication of the presence of
One.
The circle symbolizing Continent One is the key's basic symbol.
Continent One's circle isn't present as a circle; it is transformed. Its outstretched outline is its
witness, carrying its memory. And, by running across the two continental
circles, it keeps them together in a sign of united destination, in a memory of a common
belonging.
One is indeed absent. Yet it is present.
Its absence is to be understood as Presence.
We observe the trace of a circle which has abandoned its absolute state and become relative in order to unite the two
others, thus explaining the duality of the World as something taken care of ... by
One.
It's a true symbol of One that presents this great lesson.
The language is subtle. The sign is more than ingenious. The message is definitely imperative....
